When Budget Counts: How to Choose the Right DJ Service With any event, there is a definitive budget that will guide the decisions made when selecting vendors. The disc jockey you choose can make your evening unforgettable or turn your event upside down. At ProShow, we understand budget constraints, which is why we’ve devised a list of questions to ask any service, before signing a contract. We want you to make a decision that fits your monetary requirements, but will still deliver the absolute best service for the dollar. As you contact companies in your quest for the right service, prices will vary. Be certain to fully interview any company you consider hiring. The Better Business Bureau, vendor referrals and word of mouth are sometimes the best ways to determine the company that is right for you. ProShow requires a $500 non-refundable deposit on any contract, except with the University of Notre Dame. In the event of a cancellation, all deposits made are transferable to another date and have no expiration date. They may also be transferred to another entity, with a signed transfer agreement. Deposits must be made within 30 days of receiving your packet of information to ensure the reservation of your date.
